Welcome to My Ivory Tower

My Ivory Tower was created in response to numerous requests over the past several years from high school, community college, and undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing an education or career in quantum science and technology but unsure how to go about it. In my experience, hands-on training is perhaps the most important skillset to have on a resume/CV, but also one of the most difficult to obtain. Let’s face it, quantum systems can be expensive and complex! Students don’t typically have access to quantum hardware unless they are privileged enough to attend an R1 university. 

This is where camps, internships, and research experiences come in! Since it is still relatively novel to offer training and education in quantum information science before a PhD program, it can be a bit tricky to figure out where to look for these opportunities for students just starting out on their educational journeys. This is my attempt at creating a one-stop shop for students at those earlier education levels (and their teachers too!) in order to provide awareness and access to these important opportunities.
